A/N: And here we are again, finishing this particular trilogy of tales! This installment picks up threads from both of the previous stories; it was written for [livejournal.com profile] spnaubigbang and comes with two lovely covers by [livejournal.com profile] jbadgr (which you can see full-sized at her art post).
Many thanks, as always, to my champion beta [livejournal.com profile] jennytork! And thanks, too, to [livejournal.com profile] auntmo9 for prompting the bunny that turned into this little romp.

Word Count: 22,943 (plus notes)
Rating: PG-13
Pairings: Gen with background het: Dean of Winchester/Joanna de Harvelle, Dean Winchester/OFC, John/Mary, Sam/Jess
Warnings: Demons being demons

Summary: When Meg nearly gets the better of Gabriel and Castiel, Chronos decides to intervene, throwing two sets of nearly-identical brothers together into a race against time. They’re all determined that “what was” will remain “what shall never be”... but is Gabriel right that some things never change?

A/N: I enjoy Big Bangs immensely, but they do occasionally have a drawback: something that was written several months before an episode airs can be either Jossed or Kripked before the story’s posted! There are some Kripked moments in the sequel to this story, which I’ll be posting next week; here, there’s one plot point that could have been Jossed... had it not spawned a plotbunny for Crusaders 4. That one’s probably going to have to wait for next year. :D (And hey, it’s AU anyway....)
In the meantime, enjoy this second story in the Crusaders trilogy, written for [livejournal.com profile] spnbigbang_era and illustrated by the ever-fabulous [livejournal.com profile] quickreaver! Also, many thanks as usual to my lovely beta [livejournal.com profile] jennytork!

Word Count: 22,627 (plus notes)
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: More gen than not, but does include Dean/Joanna and John/Mary
Warnings: Period violence (includes non-graphic descriptions of Viking atrocities), mentions of attempted non-con, gratuitous Anglo-Saxon, crass comments by Brother Asce
Summary: With the angels and the Colt gone back to the future, it looks like all Hell is out for revenge on Dean and Samuel. Will the family survive this ordeal and keep history on the right track?

Crusaders 2: THEN [recap—you can skip if you’ve kept up thus far] )

A/N: A few months back, [livejournal.com profile] laughtersmelody and I discussed my possibly posting this trilogy to the comm. The original version is posted in full on my fic LJ, [livejournal.com profile] sarosefics, and is also available to download in PDF form; but as the fandom is SPN, you might imagine the kind of content it contains that is admittedly quite a lot milder than Show but nevertheless not quite compliant with the rules here. Our gracious mod asked me to consider posting an edited version directly to the comm, and since marriage does figure prominently in the story arc, I figure now is as good a time as any to do so. Notes for this story, including translations for Old English and Latin dialogue, are at a (safe) post on my fic LJ; notes for the second and third stories will be given in footnotes. I’ll post one chapter a day, adding links between chapters as each new post goes live, and put up a master post for the trilogy when it’s finished.

So, without further ado and with renewed thanks to the artist for this first story, [livejournal.com profile] spn_2008:

Word Count: 18,036 (including notes)
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Gen with brief John/Mary and references to Dean of Winchester/Joanna de Harvelle and Dean Winchester/OFC
Warnings: Period violence; general spoilers for all of Season 6, though the canon adventures end after "Abandon All Hope"
Beta: [livejournal.com profile] jennytork
Note: Written for [livejournal.com profile] spn_gen_bigbang. This started out as a comment-fic on [livejournal.com profile] i_speak_tongue's Looking Glass meme, but Gabriel insisted there was more to the story... oh, boy, was there more to the story.

Summary: Five men. Two angels. One demon. One last chance to stop the Apocalypse before it starts. Can one disaster serve as cover to prevent another, or will history repeat itself after all?

How in the world did I not know about this comm until today?! What a brilliant idea! And I see several names I recognize here, too. :) *waves*
So hi, I'm Rose, and I'm a theology nerd. :D I've been a believer for as long as I can remember, and I've been fic-inclined for almost as long, though I didn't know that it had a name or that other people wrote those kinds of stories until I was a senior in high school. The result was Monkeefans for Christ, which has since grown to include a Monkees devotional and a fairly extensive archive of my own fic. I also post on my fic journal, [livejournal.com profile] sarosefics, as well as FF.n and (occasionally) Many Paths to Tread. The main fandoms I write for are The Monkees, Lord of the Rings, Stargate Atlantis, Hogan's Heroes, and Supernatural, though I'm certainly open to writing for others, especially in crossovers. (Fair warning: Some of my SPN fics contain *mild* profanity, but not even as vulgar as in the show, and there's definitely no taking the Lord's name in vain.) I view my fic audience as a mission field, so I do my best to write stories that stay in line with my faith, even if they need to play with heterodox ideas for the sake of the story, and provide "an example of the believers" even when they're not openly evangelistic.
If you are in the mood for openly evangelistic stories, however, here are a handful of my strongest:

Monkees: Were You There? -- A mysterious invitation sends the Monkees back in time for a Passover that will change their lives... and all of history. (PG for period violence)

LOTR: Abjured -- In which the Witch-king of Angmar meets his Maker. (PG-13 for violence and thematic darkness; far darker than my norm, but for a purpose)

SGA: The Leap -- Post-"Kindred," Rodney finds himself with questions that science can't answer... what's a physicist to do? (PG)

SPN: Harrowed -- Dean says yes in Hell--but not to Alastair. He is rescued--but not by Castiel. Someone unexpected is waiting for him down there... and that makes all the difference. (PG for violence)

Title: In The Hands Of Time
Author: LaughtersMelody
Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Supernatural
Disclaimer: I still don’t own Supernatural, or any of the characters. Wait… (goes to find a group of shape shifters willing to take their place) I might be keeping them now, but no one will ever know. ;)
Genre: Action/Adventure/Angst
Pairing: N/A
Type: WIP
Spoilers: No new spoilers in this chapter. :)
Characters: Dean
Secondary Characters: Mary, John, Sam
Summary: Dean is given the chance to change the fate of the Winchester family. He has years of hunting experience, the knowledge of the demon’s weaknesses, and determination on his side. However, one small obstacle stands in his way…
A/N: This fic has been on the shelf for a while, but as long as the Lord allows me, I WILL finish it. :)
